Disc Granulators

Disc granulators are used for the agglomeration of bulk materials. Through the granulation process, a large number of small particles are formed into larger granules, while retaining the original physical properties, with the exception of size and shape.
Granulation capacity approx. 2,000 kg per hour, depending on factors including the bulk density of the granulated material. Disc diameter 2,000 mm, disc depth 600 mm. The disc is driven by a geared motor with continuously variable speed control from 10 to 40 revolutions during operation. A rotating, two-arm disc bottom scraper, driven by an independent geared motor. The disc edge is cleaned by a fixed scraper with adjustable contact pressure. Three-point water spray system. The granulator is adapted for dust extraction. Activation of the disc and scraper drives, as well as adjustment of the rotational speed and disc inclination angle, can be performed manually via the control cabinet buttons or through remote control of the granulation line.
