Process water, retention and fire-protection

Storing water for process and fire-protection purposes is both a legal obligation (fire-fighting water reserve, rainfall retention) and a measurable operational saving. A well-chosen tank brings both worlds together.

We manufacture process water and fire-protection tanks with capacities ranging from 5,000 to 100,000 litres — above-ground, underground and rectangular. We select the design to suit local conditions: available space, groundwater level and the pressure required by the receiving installation.

For facilities subject to the obligation to maintain a fire-fighting water reserve (high-bay warehouses, production halls, public-use buildings), we manufacture tanks that meet the requirements of the regulation on fire protection of buildings. We work with fire-protection experts at the design and commissioning stages.

We are also increasingly producing rainwater retention tanks — for plants subject to a retention charge and for projects requiring on-site management of rainwater. The collected water can be used for irrigation, washing, fire-protection installations and process applications.

Why our tanks?

Capacities from 5,000 to 100,000 L

We tailor the design to project requirements — from compact buffer tanks to large fire-fighting water stores.

Above-ground, underground, rectangular

The tank form is selected to match available space and ground conditions — while meeting all technical and fire-protection requirements.

Collaboration with a fire-protection expert

We support designers and contractors at every stage — from specification through to final commissioning with the involvement of a fire-protection expert.

Retention and reuse

Retention tanks allow environmental charges to be reduced and rainwater to be reused for process purposes.

FAQ — Process water and fire-protection

The required volume depends on the human-hazard category (ZL), the building's fire-resistance class, floor area and intended use. The calculations are performed by a fire-protection expert — we assist with tank selection once the design parameters have been provided.
Yes — managing rainwater on-site reduces the retention charge levied by municipalities. The exact figures depend on local tariffs and the area of hard surfaces.
Yes — we adapt nozzles, flanges and fittings to meet fire-protection installation requirements (DN, pressure, pump output). We supply both unpressurised and low-pressure tanks.
Typically 8–12 weeks from order, depending on capacity and equipment. Underground tanks require the excavation to be prepared in advance — we coordinate the schedule with the contractor.

Certificates & permits

We hold a UDT permit and Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) conformity certificates.
